Value Creators of Tomorrow
Urban Showrooms as e-commerce Enablers
Description
Flagship stores have been the standard for consumer brands for decades for increasing the brand awareness and showcasing the latest products. Nice interior design, central location and excellent customer service have been the staples of these stores. However, as e-commerce and online stores are starting to be the de facto points of sales the role and meaning of flagship stores must change. In this project we are interested in exploring the future possibilities and use cases of physical brick-and-mortar stores alongside the main sales channel; online.
How might we utilize the physical stores to drive online sales? What will be the connection between online and physical stores? How will the service experience be designed seamlessly between the two? What is the role of the staff and sales people in the physical stores in the future? What is the added value for the customers from physical flagship stores? Join us to re-think the future integration of physical and digital retail leveraging advanced technologies and sustainable practices!
