The climate change is throwing natural disasters at us and while the fight against the change goes on, today's problems it creates have to be addressed simultaneously. Weather forecasts are obviously playing a key role by informing consumers of near-future events but could the forecast services be reimagined for the changed environment? How should weather forecasts be like to deliver maximal value for consumers? With which means should the information be delivered? How about the tone and educational aspect, could weather forecasts redefine their role as indispensable lighthouses of the unpredictable world?
