Metaverse can be described as digital twins that are based on data from real life that is brought alive by artificial intelligence. It goes without saying that the opportunities for completely new sensational experiences are enabled when metaverse gets properly unlocked. We are taking on the challenge in the context of journalism in this project: delivering a multi-sensory extravaganza with metaverse that blows the consumers’ socks off. Stories on newspapers, websites and other traditional media are informative and enjoyable at their finest. How would the experience change if the same content was enriched and presented in metaverse? What kind of opportunities might versatile sensory stimulation provide? What if historical data would be added as an extra element, could the understanding and transparency be driven forward like never before? This project takes traditional journalism, supercharges it with extra content and delivers through metaverse-enabling technologies.
