Matrix Organization 2.0

Description
Today’s corporations are still often organized with old-school matrix structures. While the matrix provides a clear model for responsibilities, management and leadership, it also has its downsides, such as problematic information flows and abundance of unnecessary meetings. Matrix organization might be the least-worst option to be utilized, but what if it was not debunked but revolutionized into matrix 2.0, that fits into today’s work standards? How should a matrix organization look like in the future? What are adjustments and disruptions to be installed to create a future-proof matrix organization that is efficient and enjoyable? How should it be organized in order to be attractive for you and the upcoming generation of knowledge workers? This project takes on the massive challenge of redefining a cemented modus operandi. As often the approach is to dethrone the current model, we want to explore the possibilities of modifying it to fit the modern needs. Join us in exploring the future opportunities and designing wild visions on how to make matrix sexy again!
