Description
Broadcasts of live events seldomly capture the feeling experienced on-site, while they manage to provide a glimpse of the feeling and belongingness. As technological development continues, new ways of immersion and collaboration emerge. Could the participation to live events remotely be created to form a unique experience with added value? In this case, the focus will be on children’s events, such as concerts and other performance broadcasts.
How might the remote audience feel belongingness to other audience members either on-site or remote? Could such experience be created in a way that promotes physical activity in a meaningful way? Could the performers be virtually brought closer to the audience in a way the experience would feel personal? How might the experience change depending on if the content is consumed live or afterwards through recording?
Within this project, we are looking for ways to bring true smile to kids’ faces while they participate remotely in an event. Playful exploration of technologies, interfaces and modalities is a necessity, so hop aboard if you are excited in disrupting the participation experience as we currently know it!
