Gen AI is the hype at the moment. Many industries are searching for new business opportunities and customer value through Gen AI and some interesting models have been created around the world. Service industries are lagging behind in the use of Gen AI, probably because the average size service industry companies is relatively small, and they lack the capabilities needed to develop the Gen AI services. In this project we want to look into maintenance and renovation sector and create demos and concepts for Gen AI use cases. Often AI is used for optimizing internal workflows or making small incremental developments in the service, for example chatbots. We are more interested in disruptive concepts that change the traditional approach and create totally new kinds of services or business models in the industry. Let’s assume money or know-how is not a problem! How might a company in maintenance and renovation sector implement Gen AI and totally new kinds of services for their customers? How might the service look like from the customer’s point of view? How might we increase the transparency and trust between the customer and service provider by utilizing Gen AI?
