Company as a Digital Persona
Description
Digital personas are increasingly being used especially thanks to generative AI. Extreme example of digital personas are the virtual idols (mostly musical artists) in Japan, China and South Korea. They draw crowds of thousands to their live shows in virtual environments. We are interested in exploring digital personas a bit deeper from interaction point of view. Digital personas could enable us to interact with companies and brands in a totally new way. Instead of talking to customer support people who understandably cannot answer all of our questions and have limited time in their hands, digital personas could represent the companies in a much more holistic way.
How might a digital persona of a company bring value to their customers? What kind of different use cases there could be for digital personas when thinking about customer needs and wants? How might we utilize company’s digital persona to offer authentic and honest interface to the products, services and brand of the company?
