Currently cars are used mostly for transportation. In our daily lives cars give us more freedom to choose for example our hobbies in much wider range but they still mostly act as transportation vehicles to get us to the gym, lake, football field, etc… In the wake of electric vehicles and the connectivity they offer the possibilities to use cars for much more than just transportation. In this project we start imagining and designing new use cases for electric vehicles to support our hobbies and interests. If we assume connectivity between your car and other smart devices works seamlessly, how might we utilize cars in our hobbies? What can the car provide before or after, for example sports training? Can we utilize some of the current or future features of cars (such as software platforms, lights, multitude of sensors) to support us during the training? How would a car design look like if it was tailored to support specific sports? Join the project to make cars more than just transportation vehicles and demonstrate the next-generation designs!
