Each person carries a limited, single viewpoint. Fusing low-bandwidth signals from many wearers — positions, headings, detected events, environmental readings — into one shared picture gives a team awareness none of them has individually. The challenge is fusing noisy, mobile, intermittently connected inputs into a coherent and trustworthy shared view.

The project designs the fusion-and-presentation layer: combine distributed wearable inputs into a shared situational picture, handle conflicting or stale data gracefully, and present the result so it aids rather than overloads. The team would work in simulation with synthetic distributed-sensor inputs and prototype the shared view.

Deliverable: A multi-sensor fusion prototype producing a shared situational picture, demonstrated on a simulated distributed-wearable scenario.
