Description
Finding an apartment or house to buy or rent is still often a static and fragmented online experience: users scroll photos and floor plans, compare listings, and visit properties in person at a later stage. There’s limited real-time engagement with the property, its features, and its surrounding environment before making a decision — especially on mobile devices where people increasingly discover, browse, and decide on housing.
At the same time, Extended Reality (XR) technologies (AR/VR/MR) are becoming widely available on mobile devices, allowing overlaying digital information on the real world and immersive exploration of environments. The challenge is how we can reimagine apartment/house search into a live, contextualised, and XR-augmented experience that helps users discover, evaluate, and interact with property data, neighbourhood insights, and real-world context — all through a smartphone or similar device.
While walking through the city or residential area, how can we enable real-time exploration of properties ? What information would be interesting for users to create an augmentation of physical spaces into extended reality environment while house-hunting? How can we essentially help buyers or renters gain deeper insights into properties and their surroundings while walking in the area?
