Digitalizing First Steps of Healthcare
Description
Public healthcare systems around the world share a common problem: rising costs and traditional services make it difficult for nations to maintain the quality and affordability of these services at a reasonable level. In many places, parts of the services have been digitised (e.g., paper forms converted to PDFs), but there are still very few examples of fully digitalised service experiences. The goal of this project is to design a service that implements low-threshold, highly digitalized care for patients. The aim is to free up more time for healthcare professionals to focus on their patients rather than paperwork or false positives (people who really don’t need to see a healthcare professional).
Assuming that we had access to all the data about an individual’s life, health, and habits, how would we design the early steps of healthcare service with the current and future technology for the young adults? What aspects and situations might create the biggest impact when digitalized considering the first steps to seeking treatment? How would the service look and feel from the patient’s perspective?
Join us in creating meaningful digitalisation in the public healthcare sector!
