Healing the Planet
Airstrike Pesticides
Description
Agriculture, as other industries, are facing major opportunities and changes as new technologies are discovbered and made available. One of problems faced by farmers is the delay to detect pests on their crops, issue arising from the inadequate precision in plant health monitoring. Properly equipped drones have been identified as a solution for the situation. Could well-harnessed high-tech make an impact?
What if we equipped drones with NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index) capturing cameras and pesticide-dosing equipment? How might that change the landscape of pest-control, sustainability and efficiency of agriculture in general? How might such system work as a service?
Join us in this project, if you feel utilizing cutting-edge technologies for traditional contexts is exciting in your opinion!
