Addressing Self-diagnosis

Description
The younger generations are reportingly diagnosing themselves in increasing numbers and due to social media and technological tools available, they apparently feel that self-diagnosis is more accurate than doctors’ diagnoses. The current, traditional healthcare models are not equipped for the phenomenon, leading into non-satisfactory patient experiences and potentially dangerous situations. How should the self-diagnosing population be considered with a proper approach in the healthcare system? What kind of elements are meaningful in the cases of self-diagnosis? How might being aware of oneself (light self-diagnosing) be turned into an opportunity instead of a threat? This project aims to explore potential approaches towards a novel, rising trend for healthcare sector and delivering concrete user flows and demos to solve the issue. Join us in this interesting and exploratory project on a potentially major societal issue!
