Broadcasting events without interaction, is a tradition of the past. It applies also to politics, which is not too easy to approach for general public in the first place. Today’s broadcasting platforms, such as Youtube have taken competition to the next level and interactive elements in different forms are becoming a must in the event broadcasting context. As the importance of interaction increases, there’s a need to figure out the next captivating concepts for audience activation.
What kind of concepts might captivate the audiences to politics with a low threshold and new twists, thus creating more immersive experiences? How much should the production put effort and sacrifice screen time for creating a fruitful platform for the activation? How might a concept, which lures in new audiences and provides additional value for existing ones, look like?
This project gets its inspiration from various interaction mechanics from all walks of life and mashes them up for elevated viewing experience in televised broadcasts. It is a direct continuation project for another Demola project, so there is a base to build on.
