Digitalised Healthcare Done Right
Description
Public healthcare systems around the world share a common problem: rising costs and traditional services make it difficult for nations to maintain the quality and affordability of these services at a reasonable level. In many places, parts of the services have been digitised (e.g., paper forms converted to PDFs), but there are still very few examples of fully digitalised service experiences. The goal of this project is to redesign the service of general health screening for young adults through digitalisation. The aim is to free up more time for healthcare professionals to focus on their patients rather than paperwork.
If we assume that we have access to and can utilise all the data about an individual’s life, health, and habits, how would we design a visit to the hospital for a general health screening for a young adult (20–25 years old)? What aspects of the service should be digitalised to maximise the time that professionals (nurses, doctors, etc.) can spend with the patient? How would the service look and feel from the patient’s perspective?
Join us in creating meaningful digitalisation in the public healthcare sector!
