Planetary Emergency

Theme introduction

Mankind continues to inflict irreversible damage to our planet, and we are nowhere near of stopping this vicious circle. The core issue is clear: humans have been terrible to the mother nature. The volume of natural resources we consume is way past sustainable levels. There is no place on Earth’s surface that is not affected by human actions.

There is almost an infinite amount of big and small solutions, some already implemented, but there is still need for a more significant change towards 100% sustainable societies. If sustainability is not achieved all around the world during the next decade or two, the future of humankind is going to be dystopic. What can be done to save humans from the trouble we have created on our own? What if the sustainability transformation happens smoothly, what are the key factors enabling the transformation to be fair and equal for all?
